I have been the resident Judge of the Scioto County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations Division, since January 2, 2013. I was first elected in November of 2012 and re-elected in November of 2018.
Prior to my election, I owned and operated my own law firm in Portsmouth, Ohio. Additionally, I was an assistant prosecuting attorney for the City of Portsmouth.
Prior to law school, I was a high school math teacher for 10 years.

I am married and am the father to two adult children--my daughter is an attorney and my son is a dentist. - Affiliations
I am an active member of the Lucasville Kiwanis Club.
I am currently the Vice-President of the Ohio Association of Domestic Relations Judges (OADRJ), having been elected by my peers.
I am an active volleyball official licensed through the Ohio Athletic Association.

Over the last eleven plus years, my staff and I have provided outstanding service to the citizens of Scioto County and all litigants and attorneys that enter the courtroom. I look forward to building upon our already-established accomplishments and services.
