Harvey has 13 years of private practice legal experience, much of it in the Probate and Juvenile Courts of Paulding County.  He has a common-sense approach to the law and its application, and wants to have a positive impact on the children and adults who are impacted by his court's decisions.

Why are you running for this particular court seat?

From a very early age, I have always had an idea that i wanted to be a Judge, and being able to serve in this court, where my grandfather finished his Judicial career is such an honor and a blessing for me.  It is, in a lot of ways, a way for me to give back to the people of the county that has given me such wonderful opportuntities throughout my life.  I understand how important it is to make the best decisions I can with the information available, and want to continue with the good work that court staff and I have already started.
