Question 1

List your judicial experience (courts and years)

Montgomery County Common Pleas Court, General Division Judge since July 1, 2019.

Question 2

What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?

Before becoming a Judge, I was an assistant prosecuting attorney for nearly 21 years.  I prosecuted hundreds of felony cases from low-level felony offenses to capital murder.  Additionally, I spent many years as a trial supervisor, responsible for training and supervising a group of attorneys assigned to various judges' dockets.  For the last six years of my career, I was Chief of the Civil Division where I managed a large group of attorneys and staff that represented the County and all of its departments and agencies, as well as the County's elected officials, in various administrative and civil matters, including civil defense litigation.  This broad depth of experience in both criminal and civil law well-qualified me for the role of a Common Pleas Court Judge/General Division.

Question 3

Why are you running for this particular court seat?

I was honored to be elected in 2018. I am committed to continuing the important work of a Judge in the dispensation of fair and impartial justice in the Court's Civil and Criminal dockets.
