Question 1

List your judicial experience (courts and years)

Magistrate, Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations/Juvenile, 2010

Question 2

What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?

Most of my non-judicial legal experience has been in public service and in the courthouse of which I am seeking election.  I have served as a judicial staff attorney for various judges and drafted hundreds of legal opionions.  I manage a docket of 350+ cases, and work on civil and criminal matters.

I have additional experience as a prosecutor, criminal defense attorney, law firm associate, and magistrate.

Question 3

Why are you running for this particular court seat?

I believe I can make a difference.  My main goal is to bring a re-entry docket to Franklin County and allow those being released from prison on judicial release have a safety net as they are reintegrating into society.  We are the only large county in Ohio without a re-entry docket and the data is showing that having such a docket in place would have a direct correlation to reduced recidivism rates.
