Question 3

Why are you running for this particular court seat?

There will be an opening on the court with the retirement of Judge Jeff Welbaum, whose high professional standards I will uphold. The court of appeals has a vital role in reviewing decisions from lower courts and either affirming those decisions or reversing them if there was an error. That work requires a broad range of legal experience as well as the ability to read extensively from transcripts and other sources, as well as carefully apply prior case law and other precedents. My experience and long experience in both crimial law and civll law has equipped me for this role and I will work at it diligently.
