    I earned my law degree from George Washington University Law School after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the University of Cincinnati and graduating from Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.

  • Work Experience

    Prior to being elected as Montgomery County’s first female Juvenile Court Judge in 2018, I worked as a prosecutor, defense attorney, guardian ad litem, family law and civil litigation attorney for nearly 20 years. For the past 5 years I have been a sitting Judge in Montgomery County Juvenile Court, becoming the first female Administrative Judge in 2023.

    Married for over 25 years, with a 20 year old son who is a combat medic in the U.S. Army and an 18 year old daughter who is a senior in high school.

    I am a member of the Ohio Criminal Sentencing Commission, Chair of the Juvenile Justice subcommittee of the Commission, a member of the Dayton Bar Association (previous chair of the Juvenile Law Section), the Ohio State Bar Association, the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, a founding member of Montgomery County's first Female Leadership Academy, judge  mock trial competitions for high school students and am actively engaged in my community.

Montgomery County Juvenile Court for 5 years, since January 1, 2019 through present. Beginning January 1, 2023, I became Administrative Judge of the Court, leading our organization of over 400 employees.
