Question 2

What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?

My 14 years legal experience as an assistant prosecutor and former magistrate, combined with my passion for justice, has prepared me to make balanced and thoughtful decisions on the bench. I have spent my entire legal career in the the courtroom. I have tried many jury and bench trials and understand the various court rules and procedures.  When I served as a magistrate, I demonstrated myself to be a fair and neutral factfinder. My experience has prepared me to listen closely to all sides of a case and the evidence supporting the various positions and then make a decisive ruling.

Question 3

Why are you running for this particular court seat?

Hamilton County is where I was born and raised and where I plan to continue to live and raise my family. I have always had a passion for the law and for helping people. I have observed first hand how judicial rulings can affect lives and make positive changes in behavior. Becoming a judge will provide me the opportunity to better serve the community in which I live. When provided an opportunity to serve as judge on the Court of Common Pleas, my primary goal is to uphold the integrity and fairness of our legal system, ensuring that every individual receives impartial and just
treatment. I aim to bring a strong sense of accountability, transparency, and dedication to the bench, fostering public confidence in our judiciary. It goes without saying I will not legislate from the bench as a judge and instead I will follow the law as written.
