Question 1

List your judicial experience (courts and years)

I have never served as a judge.

Question 2

What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?

I have spent thirty years practicing as a trial lawyer, admitted in Ohio and federal court. Before focusing on criminal defense work exclusively, I did probate and estate and bankruptcy cases.

Question 3

Why are you running for this particular court seat?

My humble journey began in Avondale. In the early 1970’s, I remember walking the hallways and sitting in classrooms at Rockdale Elementary. From there, my journey led me to the hallways and classrooms of Walnut Hills High School.

After graduating Walnut Hills High School in 1983 it was on to Miami University in Oxford Ohio. Majoring in Mass Communications & Broadcast Journalism as well as being a member of the Miami University football team, further developed my work ethic and teamwork. Next, was law school at the University of Cincinnati, College of Law.

I have been practicing nearly 30 years as a criminal defense attorney advocating for the most marginalized in our society. I want to add my perspective and experience to the power structure in Hamilton County, Ohio to ensure equal justice for all.
