What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?
I was an experienced trial attorney in Cuyahoga General Division and handled over 2,000 criminal cases, including murder, rape, child victim and other sexual assault cases, economic crime and public corruption, burglary, robbery, drive-by shootings, felonious assault, domestic
violence, drug trafficking and abuse, and theft. I also practiced in specialized dockets such as mental health docket courtrooms.
Prior to becoming a prosecutor, I was a litigation attorney with large Cleveland firm handling general litigation matters including but not limited to contract, real estate, intellectual property/trade secret, environmental, employment, bankruptcy and Fair Debt Collection cases. Prior to becoming a lawyer I held a student law license in Illinois, under which I represented the government in several areas of law including civil rights, criminal appeals, labor and employment, tort, and guardianship cases.

Why are you running for this particular court seat?
I am running for re-election so I can continue serving our community from the bench, and continue my work with the Ohio Sentencing Commission creating a Uniform Sentencing Entry Platform and Database.
