Question 1
List your judicial experience (courts and years)
Acting Judge, Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court, 2004-present
Question 2
What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?
I have 28 years of experience helping people every day who have problems that are addressed by the Municipal Court. I understand real people with real problems, and I know how to be a problem solver for them.
Additionally, I have served on numerous boards and committees, usually serving as chair. I am President of the Seneca County Bar Association, am chair of the CROSSWAEH Community Based Correctional Facility, served on the Seneca County Board of Elections for 12 years, including six years as chair, Solicitor for the Village of Green Springs for four years, Tiffin Charter Review Commission (2000), and the Teen Center among other things. I have demonstrated leadership in all these roles.
Question 3
Why are you running for this particular court seat?
I am the most experienced candidate and am the most qualified person to serve the public. Our Court suffered a breach of trust when the previously-elected Judge was suspended from the practice of law and removed from the bench. I will work diligently to restore the trust that the Court lost as a result of that misconduct.
