What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?
I have been a City Councilman in Solon, Ohio for 22 years and have drafted legislation that is enforced by this court. I know the legislative intent behind the zoning code and other codes as it pertains to Solon as well as other municipalities. I also served as a volunteer mediator in several programs and know how to resolve cases.

Why are you running for this particular court seat?
I am running for this court to make actual change. This court desperately needs innovative programs and modernization to best serve the residents. The court needs to schedule events so that people that work and have families can have full access. There needs to be electronic filing, mediation and specialized dockets implemented. I have over two decades practicing in this court, and have represented clients in civil, criminal landlord/tenant and every area that this court has jurisdiction. I have tried cases to judges and juries in this court. I have the life experience and experience as a practicing attorney to perform this job fairly and efficiently.
