Question 2
What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?
I have been a practicing attorney for 22 years. I have been a solo practitioner, public defender, prosecutor, executive in a for profit business, a consultant and a business owner. Prior to becoming an attorney, I was a collegiate athlete, bank associate, employee of a Fortune 500 company and continue to be a mentor and coach to youth. I have learned that some of the keys to success are that no matter the outcome one must display integrity, an even temperament, and patience. The most important thing is to be fair and impartial and approach each case with an open mind and base decisions solely on the facts in front of you.

Why are you running for this particular court seat?
I am running for Juvenile Court Judge because Juvenile Court makes a significant difference in the life of many youths. Juvenile Court is the first court that I practiced in as a public defender before moving to the prosecutor’s office. I pride myself in being fair and impartial. Juvenile court is very impactful within our society.
