List your judicial experience (courts and years)
I have been a common pleas judge for more than 5 years. My jurisdiction includes criminal, civil, and domestic relations. During my tenure I have had over 40 jury trials, serveral court trials, many other hearings in all areas of my jurisdiction. I continue to obtain judicial education every year having completed courses through both the Ohio Supreme Court and the National Judicial College. I also have had the opportunity to teach courses for judges.

What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?
I contiue to be very involved in the community and as a judge have reached out to involve the community, particularly arranging tours of the courthouse for students in the sixth and eighth grades. I also taught the Constitution 101 course where community members are invited in to learn about our constitution and how it works. I am also an adjunct professor at Bowling Green State Univerisity where I teach a course on criminal courts and another course on forensic evidence.

I continue to enjoy being a judge and find the honor that the citizens have bestowed upon me to be a sacred trust that I work hard every day to uphold.
