2. Almost 10 years of experience in the Ohio legislature has given me insights into the process of developing the Ohio Revised Code and its objectives that are uncommon among appellate judges

Why are you running for this particular court seat?
It is to fulfill a commitment to service that I made to myself when I accepted the Governor's appointment; I do not shirk commitments
It is the only service position that has the ability to restrain abuses of power by both of the other two constitutional branches of government, while at the same time protecting the inherent rights of the people; to do my part to burnish our system of justice.
So I can use my legal expertise, my legislative experience and my position to perform what I believe is the most important resposibility of a public official - to establish, maintain or enhance the peoples' confidence in our system of government
