Question 1
List your judicial experience (courts and years)
None.
Question 2
What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?
I have been practicing law for 31 years and have experience in the public and private sectors. I understand how businesses, law firms and the public sector operate and can leverage that understanding to run an effective court. I have appreared in numerous courts and assisted hundreds of clients with their legal needs.
The court is here to serve the public in two principal manners. It provides a forum for the resolution of conflict and serves to balance the interests of individual defendants and public safety. As County Commissioner I have been the chief proponent for providing appropriate facilities for our court system to assure that the courts can be effective and efficient.
Question 3
Why are you running for this particular court seat?
Our current judge for this court is retiring. He has run an effective and efficient court that has served Medina County well. I would like to continue his legacy and continue to serve the residents of Medina County by providing a justice system that is fair, impartial and efficient.
